Professor John Hagedoorn

Personal profile

John Hagedoorn received an M.Sc. in economic sociology and political economics from the University of Leiden (cum laude) and a PhD. in industrial organization from Maastricht University. He is currently professor of Strategy and International Business at the School of Management, Royal Holloway University of London and a profesorial fellow with UNU-MERIT at Maastricht University.

He has held visiting scholar and visiting professor positions at a number of universities: University of Sussex (SPRU), Stanford University, The George Washington University, University of California at Berkeley (Haas), University of Paris, and the National University of Singapore.
