Personal profile

Jo is studying part-time in Royal Holloway's Media Arts Department, researching the British film director Adrian Brunel. The thesis looks at British cinema in the 1920s and 1930s and the difficulty directors had negotiating the industry.She is the recipient of a College Research Scholarship.

Jo studied Film and Classical Civilisation at the University of Kent at Canterbury and completed an MA by research in Spanish Horror Cinema. She works as a Curator at the BFI National Archive, a job which involves film archiving, research and programming at the BFI Southbank.

Teaching Experience

Jo has taught a second and third year module on Film Programming at the University of Kent.
