The principal research interests lie in the field of strategic management for software companies. In particular, the focus is on the investigation of the business models, the managerial challenges and the transition challenges software firms have to undertake when they shift from product companies (shrink-wrapped software) to services (tailor-made software) companies under the light of the firm theory of dynamic capabilities.
