Educational background

From 2005 to 2008 I studied at the University of Bristol for a joint honours BSc in Psychology and Philosophy.  Following this I completed an MSc in Psychological Research at the University of Oxford which I completed in September 2009.

Research interests

My main research interest is the role of the body as the basis of a sense of personal selfhood.

My current research focuses on how interactions with other people affect the experience of one’s own body in sensation (e.g. sense of body-ownership) and action (e.g. sense of agency), using behavioral and neuroscientific techniques, in both normal and clinical populations.

I am supervised by Dr Manos Tsakiris and funded by the Volkswagen Foundations “European Platform for Life Sciences, Mind Sciences and Humanities”
