He is the Royal Holloway lead for the work package (£670,000) on  ‘Digital technologies, inequality and migration'. Working with Co-I, Prof Tim Unwin (Geography and the UNESCO Chair in ICT4D Chairholder), this work package seeks to understand the extent and ways through which the application of ICTs has alleviated or exacerbated existing inequalities in the context of South-South migration, as well as successes and challenges facing the use of ICT for migrant-related development outcomes. It also considers how the potential benefits of ICT can be leveraged to ensure that the developmental benefits of migration are harnessed and increased, particularly through reducing inequalities in ICT access and use. See more details HERE, and visit the project website at MIDEQ.ORG.

Hari is an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Information Technology and the ORBIT Journal for Responsible Research & Innovation; Associate Editor of the Journal of Global Information Management; Senior Editor of The Electronic Journal of Information Systems in Developing Countries, and a co-founder of the Association for Information Systems-affiliate conference, International Conference on Information Resources Management (Conf-IRM).
