Foivos Dousos has studied psychology in Panteion University of Athens and then proceeded with postgraduate studies on Psychoanalysis at Birkbeck College, University of London. He is currently undertaking a PhD project on Digital Media supervised by Pauline Maclaran and Andreas Chatzidakis at Royal Holloway, University of London. His research is informed by psychosocial studies, psychoanalysis, critical theory and post-structuralist discourses. His main research focus is on Locative Media and on the ways Location-Aware technologies affect psychic life and the process of subjectification.
His research interest include: Locative Media, Locative Narratives, Psychoanalytic Studies, Lacanian Psychoanalysis, Psychoanalyticially informed Qualitative Research, Poetics, Poetry and Technology.
