A collection of prose, Attrib. and other stories (Influx Press), was awarded the Republic of Consciousness Prize and the James Tait Black Memorial Prize 2018. Stories also appear in the anthologies Best British Short Stories 2018 (Salt), The Penguin Book of the Contemporary British Short Story (Penguin) and Not Here: A Queer Anthology of Loneliness (Pilot Press). A recipient of the Christopher Tower Poetry Prize, a pamphlet Frit is published by Sad Press.

 

Recent Fellow of the MacDowell Colony, and granted Fellowship of the Royal Society of Literature in 2018.

Investigating interstices between dictionaries, digression, nonsense and 'the fictive'. Particular interest in occurrences of queered and queering language within lexicographical writing and outré dictionary forms.
