Elaine Darby is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Elaine worked as a professional accountant, firstly with PwC in audit, and later with Deloitte and KPMG in a specialist area of tax, before turning her focus to teaching. After several years teaching professional accountancy qualifications at BPP Professional Education, Elaine moved into higher education, where she has been since 2011.
Elaine teaches a variety of subjects but her main teaching interests are professional skills, ethics, audit, and financial accounting.
