My research focuses on the notions of staged vulnerability, audience engagement and virtuosity in improvisational theatre. I was awarded the Crossland Scolarship for the duration of my PhD.
Prior to studying at Royal Holloway, I have worked on the art of improvisation and the workings and history of the form, starting as an undergraduate, then as a master's degree student.
I taught French for GCSE and A-Level students between October 2013 and July 2015 and set up a French theatre club for high-school students, improvising and devising short plays in French.
