Miss Charlotte Hargreaves

Personal profile


Charlotte is currently one of the PhD research students in the Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security at Royal Holloway University of London. Charlotte is interested in individual attitudes towards security and the impact security can have on personal experiences. Her areas of interest are in human computer interaction, cyber crime, and the impact of technologies on vulnerable groups such as the homeless.

Her research has explored how digitisation impacts vulnerable populations in terms of how it can be a barrier to accessing essential services as well as how it can create additional security risks. Her research interests also extend to how digital technologies facilitate the exploitation of vulnerable groups.

Charlotte previously studied at Durham University, where she graduated with a BSc in Psychology, and a MSc in Behavioural Science.
