Personal profile

I graduated from Newcastle University with a first-class honours degree in B.Sc. (Hons) Computer Science in June 2013.

In September 2014, I joined the second cohort of Centre for Doctoral Training students, where I am being supervised by Prof. Konstantinos Markantonakis.

My research concentrates around building secure and trusted sensor-driven systems; Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), e.g. Intel SGX and GlobalPlatform TEE; and Internet of Things (IoT) security generally.

Between May-August 2016, I undertook in internship at VASCO Data Security in Wemmel, Belgium, investigating potentially unforeseen security risks of IoT in financial services.

Research interests

My research is concerned primarily with:

  • Building secure and trusted architectures for sensor-driven services.
  • Trusted and secure execution, storage and provisioning.
  • Mobile operating systems, continuous authentication and access control systems.
  • Establishing trust in IoT devices.
