I teach on a range of undergraduate courses, on topics including queer history, oral history, public history, modern British history, and gender and sexuality. My third year module, HS3406 From Inverts to Perverts: Queer Life and Identity in Modern Britain gives students the opportunity to explore the often overlooked history of queer genders and sexualities in modern Britain.

I also teach a variety of postgraduate material, including HS5642 Nothing about us without us: The Power of Oral History, a dedicated oral history module on the MA Public History programme, and HS5133 Fairytales: Narrating Queer Gender and Sexuality in the Twentieth Century, on the MA History programme.
