Personal profile

I am a third year PhD candidate in the School of Business and Management. My research interests are in the area of digital marketing, social media and the Internet of Things (IOT) as well as understanding various aspects of consumer behaviour. My thesis aims to understand the consumption of self-tracking technologies such as Fitbit, Apple Watch and Garmin in contemporary Britain.

My research degree is inspired by my experiences at BMW Group Malaysia in the digital marketing and corporate communications fields. At BMW Group Malaysia, I have worked closely with the Chief Executive Officer(s) and Head of Corporate Affairs to assist the company for public relations and corporate communications materials which include speech and press release writing concerning product strategy, sponsorships, sports marketing as well as culture and arts campaigns.

I am also experienced in digital and social media marketing at BMW Group Malaysia where I was responsible for managing all digital and social media assets, strategies and campaigns for the BMW brand.
