Project Title - Digital democracy and information security in the UK and Estonia: a geopolitical, socio-cultural technological comparison

Research funded by the Leverhulme Trust.

The research project is interested in everyday cyber securities, and how social, cultural and political differences shape public cyber security concerns and narratives. The project is particularly interested in smart devices, and how security threat perceptions are formed, and also ways in which the public seek to mitigate these concerns. The project is a comparison of the UK and Estonia, chosen for the latters embrace of e-governance and perceived excellence in cyber security.
