I was a Museum Specialist (Volunteer)

•Assisted visitors and patrons with observing and analyzing human skeletal remains in the Forensic Anthropology Lab. •Demonstrated different types of bone injuries in antemortem, perimortem, and postmortem skeletal remains. •Supported visitors as they examined an example case study to determine the sex, stature, age and era that those remains originated. •Fielded general questions about Human Anatomy and Physiology as well as specific questions about the Smithsonian’s various skeletal collections.
