Kreider + O'Leary were invited to exhibit Video Shakkei: Post-performance Drawings at The International Centre for Drawing, part of the Drawing Out festival and conference at RMIT (Melbourne, Australia).The framework of DRAWING OUT, as the title suggests, conceptualises drawing beyond disciplinary boundaries. Drawing is to be seen in its widest possibilities and showcased thematically through its associations with a range of disciplinary practices, from art to science to engineering, fashion, communications, architecture etc. Thus DRAWING OUT encompasses physical as well as virtual drawing, digital schemas and fashion templates, architectural and engineering designs, media and communications concepts, scientific drawing and fine art conceptualisations et al.
