Twelve speakers divided over four panels were each invited to present a paper based on a selection of passages from a ‘fixed handout’ devised by the organisers (one handout per panel). The conference aimed to reflect on current trends in critical approaches to Latin literature and to establish a new European network of early-career researchers. Future events are planned for 2018 and beyond.

Organised in collaboration with Dr Elena Giusti (Warwick) and Prof. William Fitzgerald (KCL).
