This seminar on the cultural value of UK film was jointly organised by John Hill of the Department of Media Arts, Royal Holloway, University of London and the UK Film Council.

It sought to identify how the cultural value of UK film might be conceptualised, how it might be measured and how it might inform policy debates and government spending choices.
