Description

'Die Dada La Dada She Dada', curated by Ina Boesch and Nadine Schneider, is the first exhibition ever to be devoted to Dada's Women. It features five artists and writers: Sophie Taeuber-Arp (Zurich), Hannah Höch (Berlin), Céline Arnauld (Paris), Angelika Hoerle (Cologne) and The Baroness Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven (New York). It also showcases the work of five contemporary women artists who were commissioned to create video installations as 'dialogues' with each of the five Dada women. Their names are: Anka Schmid, Judith Albert, Anne-Julie Raccoursier, Chantal Romani and Elodie Pong. The exhibition runs 25 October 2014 - 18 January 2015 at the Forum Schlossplatz in Aarau, near Zurich, following which it will transfer to two more locations in Switzerland.

I was interviewed in the U.K. in the summer prior to the exhibition opening by Ina Boesch, one of the show's two curators. Extracts of the recording of this interview, in which I discuss Arnauld, form part of the exhibition. I also lent first edition copies of some of Arnauld's book publications.
