Participation in 'Embodied Methodologies,' the fourth annual RHUL Practice-based Research conference, by conducting an interview activity as the basis of a forthcoming artist's book.
In this activity, interviewees were asked to 'donate their recollections' of museums and exhibitions, including instances of publishing and performance. The interviews explored memories of the gallery, museum and page as environments, and sensory experience in these environments. The questions particularly emphasised the presence and use of colour, the role of sound, and perceptions of objects.
The project is itself conceived of as a kind of museum collection, as these responses are being collated, fragmented and written through to produce a long poetic text, in the form of an artist's book.
