Ami was invited to perform OtoKin as part of a research concert at Academy of Music and Drama at University of Gothenburg. In this research project Palle Dahlstedt and Per Anders Nilsson develop new forms of musical improvisation. Together with invited musicians, they present in this concert a special type of technologically mediated improvisation, in which the musicians interact in entirely new ways. Communication among the musicians is transformed by simple algorithms, upending the conditions for musical interaction.
