Description

A workshop for RHUL postgraduate students Tuesday 16 June 2015, 10am-4.30pm, Senate House (Room 261) This workshop brings together RHUL postgraduates and staff from different disciplines (in particular English, Drama, Cultural Geography, and Music) to participate in a day-long workshop and explore ideas around body, place and space through somatic creative movement practice. We will challenge prevailing thinking on landscape and place, by investigating how we can use our bodies and attention in different ways, how different forms of movement affect our engagement with landscape, and how we can translate pre-verbal experiences, as experienced in our bodies, into language and creative writing.

Great gratitude - this is what it is.
