'Life Imprisonment from Young Adulthood' (Crewe, Hulley & Wright 2020) Online Book Launch Panel Event

Attended by over 200 practitioners, academics and members of the public from across the globe, this event marked the launch of my monograph, 'Life Imprisonment from Young Adulthood: Adaptation, Identity and Time' (2020, pub. Palgrave MacMillan), co-authored with Professor Ben Crewe (Institute of Criminology, University of Cambridge) and Dr Susie Hulley (Institute of Criminology, University of Cambridge).

Chaired by Professor Nicholas Hardwick (Professor of Criminal Justice, Royal Holloway, University of London), this event featured our reflections on the research and key findings detailed in the book, the key implications for practitioners, and 'Things everyone should know about life imprisonment'.

Joining us to discuss the impact and relevance of the book were a series of guest panellists with significant experience in penal policy and practice, as well as lived experience of life imprisonment, including:

- Peter Dawson (Director, Prison Reform Trust)
- Rachel O'Rourke (Head of Psychology, HMYOI Aylesbury)
