Description

Despite modernism’s ambivalence to it, an obsession with memory ran through the last century and has continued into this one. The huge proliferation of museums, libraries and monuments, and the great cultural and political importance attached to them, bear witness to this. Three RA Forum events address the character, uses and implications of memory for visual culture today.
