Description

Flights is an occasional event series of poetry and performance, emphasising the work of female-identified poets, performers, and artists. The series programming is guided by the principle of inclusivity.

Flights #1 was held at the Horse Hospital in Bloomsbury, London, on the evening before International Women’s Day in 2017.

The event featured work by: Aimée Lê, Alison Gibb, Astra Papachristodoulou, Bob T Bright, Eley Williams, Ghazal Mosadeq, J. D. Howse, Jennie Cole, mendoza, Mischa Foster Poole, mmmmm (Luna Montenegro & Adrian Fisher), Prue Chamberlain, Sandra Keating, and Sophie Mayer.

Flights is an event series of the Poetics Research Centre at Royal Holloway, University of London. Its organisation is currently led collaboratively by Jennie Cole, Prue Chamberlain, and Eley Williams.
