'Dictionary and Creativity: Authority, Totality and Creative Exploration', University of Roehampton

As part of the University of Roehampton's Practice, Process, Paradox: Creativity and the Academy conference, presenting on a panel dedicated to the juncture between lexicography and creativity alongside poets Kate Potts and Nisha Ramayya. My paper was based upon a dictionary's illusion of totality, exploring those instances whereby the very 'trustworthiness' of the text provides a site for transformation and subversion.
