Established in 2014, Lauriston Lights (http://www.lauristonlights.co.uk) is a registered charity which brings together university students with children from low socio-economic backgrounds in a programme designed to fulfil their potential both personally and academically.
In line with LL's P4C (Philosophy for Children) initiative, Dr Michelle Webster (former Lecturer in Sociology, Royal Holloway, Uni. of London) and I created and delivered a package of mini lectures and activities to 30+ children aged 10-11 to introduce them to the philosophy of ethics, and ideas of consequentialist and deontological morality.
