Description
The conference examined the methods by which the evidence of young children is delivered to the courts, and how far their evidence then can and should be tested. In England and Wales this has long been a thorny issue in criminal proceedings. An important decision of the Supreme Court in 2010 now means that it is potentially an issue in civil proceedings too. The conference will brought together speakers from a number of other legal systems.
