Description

Seminars in London (IMLR): Prof. Stella Bruzzi (Warwick) on documentary film, working in archives with British Library rep, Prof. Elizabeth Ezra (Stirling) on early cinema, followed by visits to the National Film Archive and BFI. A 3-day trip to Paris included visits to the Cinémathèque, BnF, BiFi, INA, Forum des images and ULIP (seminars on video footage of soldiers in Iran and Afghanistan led by Dr Agnès Devictor, Paris I) following a screening and discussion of Abbas Kiarostami’s Close Up.
