N2 - In the 2015 Parliament, ten years from the launch of Women2Win, there are more Conservative women MPs in Parliament than ever. Following the 2015 general election, there are 68 Conservative women MPs, some 20 per cent. An awful lot of effort was expended within the party by those committed to a more female friendly party; this did not happen by chance. There was nothing inevitable about the feminisation of the party at the last general election. Between 2005 and 2010 Women2Win organised many events which were active at the Conservative Party conference and fund-raised enough to employ an assistant for one day a week. In 2016 Women2Win held a number of functions with its founding Chairman of Women2Win, Theresa May, the UK's and the Conservative Party's second woman Prime Minister.
