Abstract
In this article we introduce a fluvial paleosurface that presents scour and tool marks and organic traces, associated to a large mammals site located at the Pliocene-Pleistocene boundary (Fonelas P-1, Guadix-Baza Basin, Granada). The excavation of the site has exposed a surface developed over a clay plug deposited in a channel abandon association. The preliminary analysis of the marks allows us to identify two overlapped populations of traces generated in different moments and under different environmental conditions. The presence of this ichnocaenosis is a news item in the continental record of the Iberian Peninsula.
