Abstract
Agile frameworks were introduced to tackle the rapid changing speed of technology and to accommodate for the change of demands of customers in IT projects. The paper explores and evaluates the critical success factors that enable Scrum teams to deliver successful IT projects. Various Agile/Scrum success frameworks have been reviewed and extended. The findings show that non-technical factors such as creating a positive team environment are more important than technical factors such as the choice of technology that should be used. The paper also put an emphasis on the role that soft skills may have on the outcome of a project.
