Abstract

The findings from this study are in four
inter-related themes. From a life-course
perspective three of the four themes are
African and Caribbean men’s early life
experiences, their mental health
experiences, and what ‘recovery’ is for
them, their supporters and service
providers. From this analysis a fourth
theme, what supports recovery for
African and Caribbean men, is discussed.
