Abstract
Objective: This study is an attempt to examine social representations of pregnant women with regard to the unborn
child and the relationship between pregnancy and the feelings of the mother during the prenatal period.
Material and Method: The data was collected using questionnaires given to a sample of 131 pregnant women.
Conclusions: The pre and perinatal period of pregnant woman would be supported psychosocially by the whole
family, work and nursing team according to the results of our research.
