Abstract

Quality is the basic ingredient to be added to the product service to make it according to consumer’s demand. The Garment manufacturing industries are always in focus whenever project management, marketing management, control management and management related to the quality of product is concerned. This research paper will provide the concept between quality and customer satisfaction by decreasing the defects and increasing the quality of products. Six sigma offers a wide range of tools and capability analysis is one of those tools which are used to keep the company in a state of progress and to assure the standards of the products. The research focused on improving the stitching process of basic 5 pocket denim jeans in a renowned garment manufacturing company. Utilizing the Six Sigma DMAIC approach, the project aimed to reduce defect variations and increase overall quality and efficiency. The successful implementation of this structured approach resulted in a more efficient and high-quality stitching process.
