Abstract
Evaluates UK efforts to reform pre-pack corporate insolvency practice by use of the pre-pack pool. Discusses the difficulties posed by pre-pack sales to connected parties, key features of the pre-pack pool, its policy justifications, and its practical application. Reviews the current deficiencies of its implementation, and notes reform proposals including imposing disclosure obligations on insolvency practitioners and introducing tax incentives.
