Abstract
For his premiere video exhibition, filmmaker Marc Isaacs offers up an encounter with intimacy, human fragility and the passage of time. Isaacs works both with source material filmed over a decade ago that has never been screened publicly before and moments from his extensive body of film work.
Two octogenarians sit side by side in a pub in near silence: a series of characters appear on screen lost in their own private thoughts; men, women and children in rural Bangladesh wait with trepidation for the inevitable deluge of rain.
And then all three works are brought together in a unique collaboration with sound designer and musician Matej Dimlic highlighting the universality of the human experience.
