Abstract

Using a 200K sample taken from the British Library's print catalogue, this animation plots each item's place and date of publication (or date of acquisition where available) since the library's foundation in 1753. The lines connect each place to the location of the British Library in London.

This work was produced as part of "The Internet of Cultural Things" research project in collaboration with The British Library.
