Abstract
Keeping track of who you know and what they know is both a technical and management challenge. The traditional organisation chart approach is a rigid and often inaccurate approach, requiring time-consuming and error-prone manual entry and maintenance of data. Instant Knowledge is a framework which will enable privacy-conscious sharing of mobile social context information to automatically create an enterprise-wide network of contacts. This network can then be manually or pro-actively interrogated by a distributed recommender system to nd the most relevant people for the task at hand.
