Abstract
"Hounding" explored practice-based and conceptual engagements with the spatio-temporal dynamics of bioacoustics research and fieldwork. Hertz sources from a range of fields including conservation ecology, doom metal performance and sonic geography to demarcate ways in which 'slow listening practices' enhance the temporal specificities required to address the slow violences of extractive material practices.
