This research is relevant and intend to explore GSCM further, especially in the context of Malaysian food retail industry so that the results from the findings will be applicable for food retail stores to contribute to improving the companies’ performances through GSCM. Although, this is the first stage exploratory research from relevant literature within this area, the paper presents the proposed conceptual framework and the research hypothesis to further expand upon in the future research studies.
