Abstract
Located within the spatial and historic turns in organization theory, this paper examines the gendering of organizational space over time. Lefebvre’s triad of conceived, perceived and lived space is deployed to interpret some preliminary findings of an archive-based study of a university building designed in the 19th century as a women’s college.
