From the Exquisite Dark: for solo percussion and electronics

Composition for solo percussion and electronics. 'From the Exquisite Dark' uses a system of contact microphones and Bela nanocomputer running a Pure Data patch which detects attacks in non-sounding objects to create the illusion that they make sounds, thereby 'transferring' sounds from real sounding objects (glass bottles, nails, sandpaper, a piece of metal chain) to a collection of toys (plastic watering can, plastic frisbee, a doll surrounded by LEDs, a plush snake puppet).
