Abstract
The COVID- 19 pandemic has precipitated a rapid move online for sys-temic psychotherapists. Digital interventions have been necessary to provide healthcare in the context of increasing psychological distress. In parallel, the families we work with are renegotiating the role tech-nology plays in their lives. For all of us, technology has become central to the many things we value because they support family functioning: employment, education, health, social support and social connection. Given this context the aim of this special edition is to explore systemic digital innovation. Is this move from Room to Zoom the start of a para-digm shift for systemic theory and practice?
