Abstract

This article is an abridged version of a presentation given by Deborah Pearson at the International Community of Performing Arts Curators symposium on curation, hosted by l’Université de Québec à Montréal in May 2014. Pearson, a live artist and founding co-director of the UK artist-led collective Forest Fringe, questions whether or not curation for Forest Fringe is an artistic act or can be considered a facet of her artistic practice.
