Abstract
Recently, a ‘‘unified’’ Andreev reflection (AR) formalism, claimed to be ‘‘the most general to date,’’ was suggested by Chen et al. Here, we show that while there are numerous works correctly solving the problem formulated in work by Chen et al. for arbitrary spin polarization P, Chen et al. fail to correctly incorporate P≠0 effects and is incompatible with basic physical laws.
