Abstract

Considering the substantial environmental impact and consequences of resource conservation, sustainable water waste management in the mining industry is paramount. Transparency and practical methods for resolving water management issues are frequently lacking in current practices. To comply with legal requirements, lessen environmental impact, and encourage wise resource use, it is necessary to investigate and practice sustainable water waste management solutions. This study investigated sustainable water waste management practices in mining using a qualitative approach through case study methodology.
Overall, this study emphasizes the significance of sustainable water waste management in the mining industry and the requirement for proactive actions to overcome the associated difficulties. According to the study, attaining sustainable water waste management requires open reporting, regulatory compliance, and technology integration, as well as promoting ethical mining practices and encouraging the sector to use proposed frameworks that emphasize resource efficiency and environmental preservation.
