Abstract

Before outlining the major results contained in this collection, clarifies terminology followed by previous and current authors. A continuum from mud-mounds to walled-reef complexes is illustrated with mud-mounds containing a partially wave-resistant framework generated by sediment trapping and baffling by seagrass and algae.
