Project Details

Description

In 2012 ten poets were invited to take part in a series of residencies at the University of Cambridge museums. Thresholds ran from November 2012 to May 2013. Each poet spent time in their host museum or collection, exploring the collection and working with young people, helping them to develop their critical thinking skills as well as their writing. The ten poets were also commissioned to write a new poem informed and inspired by the collections.

I was Thresholds Poet in Residence at the Scott Polar Museum, running workshops, taking part in events, and writing new work.
