Description
This ESRC IAA funded project aims to enhance the Open Innovation capacity of organisations in Ukraine, to accelerate the development of new products and services during it's reconstruction. Award: £15,000.
This project engages Ukrainian innovation ecosystems to co-develop open-innovation toolkits and capacity-building workshops with institutional partners and is being developed into a UK-REF Impact Case Study.
Beyond this initial award, in January 2026 we applied for further funding (£30,000) through the Twinning Seed Fund for Research Excellence to extend the project, focusing on open-innovation and intellectual property frameworks for Ukraine’s reconstruction, in order to strengthen UK–Ukraine research partnerships, capacity building and pathways towards larger Horizon Europe–scale funding.
